‘I Am Obsessed’ is the latest track from South London sibling duo Punchbag. It’s an unpredictable piece that lures you into a false sense of security with its bouncy piano chords, before slapping you round the face with a reverb-soaked scream and a turn toward darkly euphoric bursts of both energy and tension. “It's about being completely obsessed with something or someone, but not in a cute way, more in a 'your whole body is under attack' kinda way,” explains Clara Bach. “It's sort of disordered, chaotic, overwhelming.” ‘I Am Obsessed’ is taken from the band’s second EP, also called I Am Obsessed, which is due for release on April 10th, 2026, via Mute. -Dan Peeke.
